Meet the Psychologist
Hello, my name is Minette Russell-Irace. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist who received both my Master's and Doctorate degrees from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University in 2013. My training allowed me to experience both the Cognitve Behavioral and Psychodynamic schools of thought that strongly influence my work. I received further training at the Institute of Mental Health with an emphasis on Emotion-Focused and Systemic Therapies. In 2019, I received a certificate in Sex Therapy from NYU's Human Sexuality program.
I have worked with diverse populations at several major hospitals in the area as well as a clinic in Downtown Brooklyn. In my private practice, I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, fears of abandonment, or a general malaise of spirit; as well as couples whose sources of friction include ethnic/cultural differences, struggles of power and equality, value differences, and issues of intimacy.
